I received case no from NVC just today. And it asks me to upload the documents electronically instead of mailing them. I heard from people that Mumbai is not under EP. I called NVC they said I have to upload instead of mailing.

We haven't yet received our case number from NVC. USCIS sent the case to NVC on Aug 29th 2018. After that, we havent heard anything from either one of them about the receipt of case or case number etc.

They take upto 8 weeks to give a case no. So don't worry you'll get your case no anytime now.

Confirmed. Speeds up marginally as NVC scanning and mailing time eliminated.

ok.In your timeline is mentions- as seen on myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov

Is this your a/c where you see the progress or DO I have to make parents a/c on it to see any progress?

Because I check my a/c on that website and I do not see anything there except N400 stuff that already done before.

Thank you
