I am preparing I 864 for my wife.

 

was married before got 2 children from  previous marriage but I don't claim them in my tax return and they don't live with me. I sponsor my father & mother before and they still have green card.

so how much income I need to make to sponsor my wife.

If the children are under 21 (unless they are age of majority in their current country of residence) then you still must include them in your household size.

Your parents must be included as well since the I-864 is still in effect for them.

Minimum Income requirements: https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p

It sounds like your hosuehold size is 6 (yourself, the intending immigrant, 2 children, 2 prior people sponsored).

The CO makes the final call based on the totality of the circumstances, not minimums.

It's above the minimum for your household size, but I would add assets as well if you have them just in case.
