Hello,

I am helping my parents file green card application. While doing so, I realized that the agents they used while back for I-130 petition filed with lots of mistakes, ex. they used province instead of putting cities, they freaking mixed up the gender of my parents!! It was approved somehow and now it's time for my parents to prepare application... but I don't know if I..

1. should bring this up and somehow to uscis straighten it prior to sending application

2. submit along with a supplementary document that explains any discrepancy from initial petition,

3. do nothing at all and turn in the truthful and honest information, then have uscis decide whatever they need to do

I wonder if they superseded the incorrect information with the correct from the documentation that was sent.  I would see what their system reflects.  It may be in better shape than you think.

It’s always better to correct everything early on.  It could be used against them at any time with no notice.  You’re never home free with errors.  We live in a time where citizenship is even revoked retroactively.

Only in rare cases where fraud or willful misrepresentation is discovered and proven.
