NOA2 !! Whats in the letter

Hi Everyone ,

We got our NOA 2 approved on 3rd May , but it seems the letter posted to us has gone missing ..... could someone inform whats in the letter and any idea of if the letter going missing could lead to any delays in our application or not ???

You're gonna need that letter in order to adjust status later on. If its been approved more than 15 days ago and you haven't received a letter you need to call them and let them know. It just says that your case has been approved and that they are forwarding it to NVC. There's nothing really you need to do from this point forward. But you will need a copy of this letter in the future. You can call NVC and find out if your petition has arrived there yet.

I kinda think all of us approved May 3rd are waiting for the hard copy of NOA 2 ... so I would not worry so much. They are prob still sitting in the mailroom at the CSC... who knows maybe they are waiting to get enough for a bulk rate

I would love for someone to post if they actually got their NOA 2 in the mail and were also May 3rd accepted.

The letter is the NOA2 (I-797) - you MUST have this down the road. Is it safe to assume you have not moved since filing? (Also, did you receive the hard copy of the NOA1?)

It seems to take about 2 (sometimes more) weeks to get this in the mail - hopefully you will get it soon.

There must be something going on with the Mailroom there. There are a number of people (myself included) who have NOT received their I-797 for their NOA-1 yet. This getting more than aggravating ...I know...Patience...

Thanks so much everyone .... Atleast it means no delay for the moment ...and i guess we will have to ensure we get the hard copy for later on.... and on the other hand hope that we may even get it right now ... ( also the address has to be correct as we havent shifted and had recvd the NOA1 on the same address ) ... Hanging on !!!

There was no need for a call eventually... my fiance got the hardcopy today
