AOS response timeframe

Almost 2 weeks ago USICS recieved our AOS packet for my wife's K1 AOS,  my affidavit of support, her work authorization request and her daughters K2 AOS packet along with the appropriate payment via checks.

 

So far the payment checks have not been cashed and we have not recieved any emails, phone calls or letters in the mail.  We did submit the email response request form on each of the forms.

 

My basic banking account instinct tells me to contact the bank and cancel the checks.  But I have no idea how long we need to wait before becoming worried.

 

Any ideas would be helpful.

I see other adjustment of status applicatuon timelines get a Notice of Action within a few days.

 

It has been 2 weeks and my checks have not been cashed and no letter.  However, the postal tracking number shows my aos package was delivered on September 4, 2018.

Mine delivered on 31st, and notice came on 11th with the received date of 4th.

 

it can be delivered but not yet put into system. Especially the Labor Day making it a long weekend means files piled up.  Many people from these last 2 weeks are waiting long actually.

 

 I would expect yours by this Friday, or next Monday.

Recieved a text message response and the bank checks were cashed.  It must have been the Labor Day Weekend rush?....
