Yeah I self deleted cause I saw the rest of the posts after writing and issue was already addressed.

 

Hope it resolves fast, but I agree with others that wedding before entering U.S has a high possibility of causing problems for a K1.

I am not sure if informal Nikah (verbal offer and acceptance by the boy and the girl) in front of parents and (at least) one other witness would be considered marriage before K-1 entry? This is religiously required before she is able to travel with you alone (for (practicing) Muslims).

Formal - can sure be an issue per my understanding, however, I am not sure if an informal one (min.- like I mentioned above) could be a problem.  Lets see if someone can help clear this up.
