It is ok, this makes more sense now :)

no red flags really, even the wedding was a small home thing but with family and friends and all around

it is sad yeah, those laws need to change somehow

What I have been seeing lately is a lot put in AP and the interview has similar questions, and answers...

Will you have a family? (when the petitioner is older and to their standards not in child bearing years)
Did you have a big wedding, and if they answered no...then they ask...why didn't you? (apparently they don't like the small wedding factor....?)

Trips and time together is big too.

Have you been able to make more trips to go out and see your spouse since the AP process? :(

Want my advice? Don’t really try to understand things in a logic way, it is all BS depends on luck as a big factor plus other things

no we are both young with one year difference, no kids or divorces before

the small wedding is ok, I have seen people get approved with it and without nothing at all, both our families and friends  know about it and we had proof for this

my wife has been livin with me in Egypt since the New Year’s Eve so about 9 months and we had a ton of pictures from the honeymoon where we went everywhere around Egypt plus the chat and call logs for more than 5 years

Not trying to make sense, but trying to see similarities or common grounds.

We have an acquaintance that works at the Embassy who talked to us about many important red flags they look for.  That is why some things stick out to me, more than others.

Again, just trying to see if there is at least something that links each person together for this intensely long AP process for you all!

Yeah yeah I know, I have gone through this too, all the reading and asking about things ... it is true that there are red flags and all that affects the decision and better be well prepared at least to be satisfied with yourself instead of beating urself over it later

but what I noticed is that the process is not transparent at all and it is meant to be so by laws that give them immunity to appeals and waiving and that gives them the right to keep info from you

and this is ,anywhere and in any process, the biggest door for being a pain for personal and not professional reasons or for political reasons like the current administration and its minions that hold managerial places in all the posts now

so sometimes there is really no reasons

Everybody goes through AP,  it is part of the process.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Does anyone know which ombudsman do help with immigration issues?

i found a thousand different ombudsmen offices, there are some in the state, one in the state dept, one in the USCIS plus others ... :s

https://www.dhs.gov/case-assistance

I’ve contacted them on that page. The office is responsive and try to help, the rep that spoke to me even consoled me after I had a melt down during our conversation. Unfortunately there’s not much they can do about administrative processing, they can’t even give an estimate for responses. They can basically only help if you have an unusual issue with ur case.
