edp33,

any touches since 6/22?

Hello Urge To Race. I have not received any touches since the 22nd and it appears you have not received any new touches either. I will let the forum members know if there is any changes.

I expect about a 7 week wait for adjucation and have myself mentally prepared for the wait. Only time will tell.

hey everyone, sorry haven't been around

it just gets disappointing and depressing reading other people's progress

don't get me wrong, i am happy for all of you

just that our names are still not in the system

who knows really what's going on

though we could request for a copy of our money order, as what USCIS suggested

but money gram said it will take 60 days before we get a copy of the money order

we're looking into asking for help from the representative or senator

and maybe an infopass appointment

i miss my husband terribly

i cannot express how sad and lonely i have been the past 4 months

that's it for now :sigh:

Sorry to hear that you have not been entered into the system and I hope the problem gets resolved soon. The only other thing I can think of is to email your problem to USCIS. It is a simple suggestion, but may help.

Sorry to hear about your problems. When was the last time you called USCIS? Do you know for sure that your money order was cashed? I am thinking that since it has been so long and you are not in the system, your petition will be considered lost by them. If your money order was cashed and you can prove to them that they received and then lost your I130, you might be able to get special handling by resubmitting... if it was never cashed, they will look into it because of the length of time, but you can expect nothing. Just refile.

Your case is different than most. For some of us, myself included, the bulk of the wait was for the check to be cashed. When that happened, I got my NOA1 in the mail in 2 days. This was due to the SC backlog because of the H1B petitions. Then there is the group of filers who had there checks cashed, got the receipt numbers off the check and were able to track the case online (so they were in the system), but never got the paper NOA1 to use as evidence for the I129F. This is do to the computer glitches or the backlog at the CSC. Some of them are now filing their I129Fs with the copies of the cashed check, printouts of their case status online, and return receipt USPS cards as evidence. The point is they are in the system so they can file their I129Fs.

You are not in the system, I am thinking that after so many weeks, that unfortunately your application may be lost.

7 weeks? I am glad that you have patience my friend. I have not had any other movement on my case. That is why I asked if you had any touches. I am wondering if I will get something when CSC simply receives the case (touch, email, status change), or only when it is really being adjudicated. I know you got an email and a status change as well as touches. I was trying to see if those events just meant your case was received at CSC or if you were really luckly and they were already working on it.

It appears that they just received it, and you still have some waiting to do before they actually work on it (which you were prepared for). Makes me wonder what happened to my case.

Does CRIS show that your I-129F is pending at CSC? I assumed your I-129F was pending at CSC and you did not show it in your signature. I also received an I-797c saying that my wife's petition was transfered to CSC. Who knows for sure with USCIS. I have noticed on VJ that some people get adjucated without any touches and others get many touches.

My wait estimation came from looking at more recent adjucations on VJ. I know it is not the most accurate sample for statistics, but it is all I had to work with.

Our case was transfered a day after yours and I have received an email telling me it was there and pending. Then it was touched two times since then. Got excited yesterday I had a letter from USCIS in the box but it only said they might have gave me the wrong customer service number, what a let down.

I like to be prepared ahead of time whenever possible to avoid last minute mistakes by eushing.

However, did you notice the variance in our three Philippine timelines? You and your spouse received the I-130 NOA1 the quickest and yet your Pending is only 4 days sooner than mine. Urge To Race has not received their Pending email, but hopefully it is pending. The timelines vary so much it makes me wonder how they decide what petition to work on next.

I received an envelope in the mail from USCIS yesterday. I opened it to find a notice stating, “The telephone number for the National Customer Service Center that we recently provided you may be incorrect. The correct number is 800-375-5283."

Has anyone else received one of these notices?

At least it was not an RFE!! :o
