So sorry to hear that. It has been way too long. My only two suggestions would be to try and get a copy of the money order to get the receipt number. My other suggestion would be to make an infopass appointment as quickly as possible.

Maybe someone else will make a suggestion.

Still no news on our I-129f. We sent it June 1st and have not received the NOA1 yet, the check wasn't cleared and got no emails concerning our petition. It's a bit frustrating because in the past months, people have been getting their NOA1 in about 7-10 days and we are at 13. Okay so it's not dramatic, but still it's frustrating. I'm just hoping it doesn't take a month like it did the NOA1 of the I-130

It does get frustrating comparing your timeline with others. I hope you get your NOA1 soon.

My example is that I was comparing our timeline with another VJ member that had their I-130 packet arrive one day sooner. The difference grew from 1 day up to a difference 12 days.

The timeline is a comparison only. Each couples journey is different.

Hi All,

I just talked with a USCIS cust service rep about my I-130 application that I sent on April 21,2007. Since I have not received the NOA1 nor my check has been cashed I wanted to find out the approximate time it would take for me to receive any kind of info from USCIS. She said, that the California Service Center is running a little behind due to overwhelming H1 visa applications. This has considerably slowed down the K-3 visa processing. However, she indicated that I should check back with them after June 15. If I do not receive any notice by June 15, then they will provide me a "non-receipt referral". The non-receipt referral basically provides information regarding the filing if the filing can be confirmed.

So for all the K-3 filers out there who sent in the I-130 in late April and have not received any NOA1 or check cash confirmation, please do not panic. Give yourself another 2-3 weeks and then call USCIS at 1-800-375-5283.

Thanks!

I NEVER did receive my NOA1 for the I-130. I did have a receipt number from the cashed check. I went ahead and filed the I-129F last week on 6/12 without the I-797( sent a copy of the Status Report, and copy of the cashed check), and I just received the I-797C NOA1 for the I 129F today! Yea!!

So if you have a copy of your Status Report that shows the case number, it looks like you can go ahead and file the I-129F, and you don't need the actual I-797 for the I-130.

Great news iray. This should help other members continue on with their k3 journey. :)

It appears the next step is to get the I-797c for the I-130 before it is needed futher down the line.

This is an invitation to anyone who filed a K3 in or close to April to post on this thread. It seems that many of us who have filed in April are having delays with checks being cleared and receiving a NOA1. I think it would be helpful to keep each other updated with concerns or activity on our visa applications.

I plan to call USCIS within the next two days because it will be 30 days since my packaged arrived without my check clearing or receiving a NOA1.

Are you really an April filer? You didn't send your I-129f until late May. Are you not a May or even close to June filer?
