Long story. LOL. My wife only gave me one passport picture which I sent in with the I130. I took another set of myself because the USCIS CSR told me to send two sets of G325A with two photos for the I130. Evidently, I did not listen as I still had one photo. Live and learn.

hahaha, oh well

you got it done in the end, that's what matters

so is it okay to send the same passport photo, even though it's been over 30 days?

not like it's been a year or something, right?

Catou1181 you sent your I-130 the day ours was received in laguna niguel, california

we should get ours about the same time next week

(i hope)

Well normally it should take less than 30 days to get a NOA1 for I130. Heres to hoping that 5 days over 30 will not make a difference in the picture. Another forum member actually put the date picture was taken on the back of the passport photo along with the name.

Greetings fellow K3 ers

I filed the I-130 on 4/26/07 at Nebraska Service Center. No NOA1 yet. I was getting quite nervous, so signed up for this forum, and see I am not alone! I'll keep a keen eye out here. Best of luck to everyone.

My husband called USCIS today, since we'd sent our petition over a month ago. Good news, they mailed the NOA1 on Thursday so we should recieve it on Wednesday and can file our I-129f then!! The lady he talked to also suggested that we NOT file the I-129f without the NOA1. (Just a heads up for those of us who considered it). We got our receipt number, and our case is pending :)

Good luck to all of you who filed around the same date as us. You should be getting news soon. We were also told that there's no way to expect that we won't be together by February. Basically saying that February is the latest date for our Visa to be in hand. Woohoo!

ok i know most of you here sent your packets to nebraska

ours was sent to california, which probably makes a huge difference

but where's our NOA1?!

which number do we call to inquire, the one with the machine?

we'd like to be able to talk to a human being

perhaps if they inform us that the NOA1 is on its way, then i can stop freaking out about it

this is killing me :(

I forgot to mention that when I checked the status of my file, with my receipt number, it said that our petition was transfered to CSC.

And if it helps, my husband called the central(NBC) USCIS, I believe the number is 1-800-375-5283 :) Good luck

It has been more tha 28 day, so you or Feelick should call 1-800-375-5283, press 1 for English, 2 to bypass intro, then 2, then 6, and then 2 for not knowing wic number. This will get you a CSR that will ask a bunch of questions and hopefully forward you to someone who can check to see if Feelick's name is in the system.

Monday the 28th is a holiday here, so I would plan on USCIS being closed.

In my poor Tagalog, walang anuman or maligayang pagdating. Translation = "don't bother or not neccessary" and also "your welcome."

I think the purpose of this thread is to share experiences, help each other out, and to share news and concerns. Glad we could be of assistance.

Our check cleared today. The receipt number brings up an error message of, "Attempting to add a case that does not exist. Check the app receipt number."

I guess waiting for the NOA1 is the best option.

Anyone else have some good news or activity recently?
