You filed your I130 15 days before mine, but got your approval more than a month ago, and I am still waiting (with maybe weeks/months yet to go). This process is frustrating.

Good evening,

Robin

There are no correct words to speak on how I feel right now about this process. Right from the very beginning our applications were delayed because of the "HUGE" impact on USCIS with HBI Visa's. USCIS did not have the staff even to enter the overwhelming response they received for HBI Visa’s. (Then our applications was transferred to CSC.)

After that CSC experienced "systems" problems and a month was lost for the NOA I.

Which our applications are hindered by there delay today! But, we all continue to wait

because of there problems not ours. Now, I understand the NOA I is even longer to receive. But, USCIS takes no accountablitiy for these enormous delays at CSC. The back log continues to grow and before long to process a spousal Visa it will probably be a year or longer! What happened to the family act to unite families faster?

The impact of the wait of processing our applications is extreme! We have no ideal when USCIS will complete them. Our applications have been touched so many times and still we have no approvals. The touches are not because of I have contacted them everyday because I feel every time you contact these people its taking away from them processing one of our applications.

I am sorry to go on and on. But, USCIS really knows how to break your spirits! This entire process to not fair and unjustified!! Even on the NOA I the document states we process applications in the order we receive them! That is a down right lie!!! Because as we all seen many applications have already been approved before ours. Also, with me stating this I am very happy for the people who have already gotten their approvals. Anytime anyone gets an approval that is a blessing from above!

But, I am disgusted and extremely angry on how this entire process has gone and the wait and the poor procedures and errors on USCIS; however we are the people who continue to be punished and seperated from our families which are the people who we want and need most in our lives!!!

SO, very heartbreaking!!! Best of luck to everyone and soon another week will close.

Your write up on the inadequacies of USCIS are very accurate Kim. I hope expressing yourself made you feel better. Unfortunately, there is little we can do except contact the media and our judicial representatives. It seems very few people in the visa process are willing to do this.

I have written one Congressman and emailed another so far. Doing this probably will not help me, but hopefully will help future people trying to process a visa. My purspose is to make people aware of the problems and not to have Congress make a bigger mess. You may have never noticed, but when Congress suggests making a Bill, it triggers a reaction of events. At best it would be nice to have USCIS try to explain their lack of acountability to the public.

Yep, sure does break your spirit. I had hoped when I first planned my trip to see Layla that I would have an NOA2 (maybe even have been through to NVC). I'll be there 2 weeks, so if that was the case, there was a chance we could get the interview in while I was there (turnaround at my embassy is 3 days for the interview). But, now it looks like I will leave still firmly in the grasp of the USCIS CSC beast with little hope of even an NOA2. I still have a week before I leave, but an approval next week (which I doubt is on the way), would still have to wait for CSC to figure out how to ship the petition to NVC. Guess they never heard of the USPS.

Congrats Robin! :dance::thumbs:

Greetings to all,

I have not posted for quite a while. Nothing to report... I'm waiting like everyone else..... I have to say i agree with all the frustration. To this day have not recieved the NOA1 for the i-130, which i mailed in on 4/27/07.

Hang in there, our time is coming!

Edp, I have no problem with contacting the media and our judicial representatives. This is our families we are speaking about and they are no different than you and I! You are correct this will not help our situations because we are to long in there extreme process! If no one speaks nothing gets accomplished. Also, its true they are making all the decisions while our lives remain on hold. Lately, I'm not even functioning anymore because no matter how I try not to let this get to me. I can't push this out of my mind. Everyday when you open your eyes; you think is this going to be the day? The day starts and ends and the wait continues to grow longer! OMG what are these people doing? Lack of there errors we wait and we speak to our spouses a little more time. This may sound crazy but, I do not like the words a little more time. Something needs to happen! USCIS definately needs to be accountable and explain there lack of accountability to us and our families! I really thought my husband would be here by beginning of December. Last year in December my mother passed away and no one would grant him a emergency visa because we were not married. How unjustified this entire process! Everyday makes me more and more frustrated! Now we are married and there errors that they were never justify keeps us seperated.

Thank you for your support. Best of luck my friend.

HI,

I think if we all organize and write one big petition to all the senators it will have power.

There are so many individuals contacting senators and that practice has become useless over the years.

We need to show senators that lack of approvals is a CSC system wide issue and not an individual basis. Unity is power!

So unless so many of you who complain all the time does not decide to organize and unite this trend will continue. By the way do not forget that few years back it took more than 1-year to get I-130s approved that’s why they created K3 under the life ACT. So now both K3 and I-130 is in limbo.

They created K3 because so many people complained to US senate.

So guys and gals just make up your mind and let’s organize and formulate a petition, maybe better involve a good lawyer as well.

Think about it!

I have no problem with a petition. We need all over ducks in a row. Also, I do understand for the K3 the life act was made to speed up the process to unite families. However, history in the last several months the I-130 has been approved before the K-3. Totally a backward processing system along with all the prolong events from USCIS.

March filers talked petition too, but it all fell apart when they got their approvals. It took us a lot longer to get here. Now, if we could just get those approvals.

By the way do not forget that few years back it took more than 1-year to get I-130s approved that's why they created K3 under the life ACT. So now both K3 and I-130 is in limbo.

They created K3 because so many people complained to US senate.

So guys and gals just make up your mind and let's organize and formulate a petition, maybe better involve a good lawyer as well.
