neel, plenty of April filers waiting for approvals. The slow down may have started with you guys in March, but it has gotten worse for April. April is seeing even less activity. By the end of August, most March filers had approvals, but September did not bring the same results for April. Hopefully early October will. They seemed to have put the brakes on K3s again. Would have been okay if they flew through March, April, May, maybe June then slowed. But they just did March then slowed again. I just about stopped caring (about USCIS that is).

Thank you for your support. I totally understand your frustrations!!! CSC definately needs MAJOR adjustments completed with this service center. The back log of applications is out of control at CSC and they have only processed a "few" K-3 applications within the last several weeks. Its so very sad for so many of us but, unfortunately no one has taken any authority from USCIS to correct the situation! :crying::crying::crying: Best of luck my friend!!!!

Well said Urge.. about not caring about USCIS... I have tried doing it myself with little or no success... It still seem to pop up in my mind again and again, even tho I dont want it to. In an ironic way, I am so thankful to the God that lately I have been crazily busy at work, which makes my day go by fast.. but every evening the sinking feeling starts creeping up again when I check my mail/emails... Lately, this is causing so much pain and hurt on my wife's side too due to the sinking feeling that our reunification is going to be even more delayed now due to this even worse slow down than the March one...

Yesterday my wife and I were talkin about this recent delay and I was calmly trying to convey it but I could feel in her voice that she was really saddened/hurt after what I had just told her.. She is usually more patient than I am and for months she never asked me or even brought up petition/NOA2 talk...but since she knows that for her to be here by end of Jan or early Feb.. we should have gotten our NOA2 by now or getting pretty close to it, which, being a June K3 filer, we are NOT even close.. and as such when we were talkin about it.. I can hear/feel her sadness and tremendous disappointment in her voice... I hate USCIS... Oh wow..If anyone remembers my post then back when March filers started seeing approvals, I had alluded the fact the hopefully we wont have another K3 slowdown.. and guess what.. this time its even worse... I wish I had done K1.. as I mentioned yesterday.. CSC put out close to 35 K1 NOA2 in the second half of the Sept and I think 4 or 5 already for the month of Oct.. but as we all know hindsight is always 20/20... Not to be bad about anyone's filing process but USCIS needs to closely check and balance its own priorities.. According to a recent memo from the USCIS, it seems to be processing H1B(485) first, N400 2nd.. and then I guess all the K1 and IR1/CR1 (this is my personal opinion).. Oops as usual they just forgot or dropped K3...

Anyhow, I am goin to get off my soap box. Wish everyone here good luck... Though as off late it seems like no luck is workin for K3 filers..

USCIS Update

USCIS REACHES H-2B CAP FOR FIRST HALF OF FY2008

WASHINGTON— U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced today that it has received a sufficient number of petitions to reach the congressionally mandated H-2B cap for the first half of Fiscal Year 2008 (FY2008). USCIS is hereby notifying the public that September 27, 2007 is the “final receipt date†for new H-2B worker petitions requesting employment start dates prior to April 1, 2008. The “final receipt date†is the date on which USCIS determines that it has received enough cap-subject petitions to reach the limit of 33,000 H-2B workers for the first six months of FY2008.
