I'm a March filer and it's been rough seeing hardly anybody being approved yet for March. I'm hoping things start moving for everybody that's been waiting 3 months or more.

113 days since I-130 NOA1

96 days since I-129f NOA1

I hope so too. You are close to the average.

You still have a glass? haha

I keep getting tempted to post the Vulture line about patience. Since it is a public forum I try to be civil. :help:

Well...Before I had no patience..hahahha..still don't have any..Just trying to make it day to day..I check this forum daily..sometimes 3 to 4 times a day..I keep hoping that one day there will be lots of people here getting their approval notices. I see a lot of people who filed after me with very little patience..I'm thankful of finding this site, at least there are other people in the same boat. If it would make anyone feel better, you could search the timelines of a year or two ago and see that there were a lot people waiting 500, 600 and even 700 days for approval. I have a calendar and am marking the days off with the hope that it won't take near that long..I really don't have a clue how long this process will take.

Anywaysssss..Everyone hang in there....In the meantime, I am planning a trip to be with my Honey maybe next month.

NOTE TO "edp333": Our timelines are very close and we both have an interest in the Philippines, so if you're ever down and out and need a friend to talk to, I'm here. We could talk by phone and share our stories and maybe, be some sort of moral help in this time of "waiting"...

They will not move your case to a different service center just because you now move to a location that would be serviced by that service center if you were sending it today

edp33,

Lota mailed the I130 petition 20 days after you and 21 days after me. I am not reassured by USCIS processing as they seem to be all over the place anyway. Some from March, a few from June, an April here, a May there.

Yes, and looking at the glass as half empty, there are petioners from January and Febuary who are not approved yet. I like to view the few who are getting approvals early as a sign we are getting closer to our adjucation. Of course, each couples journey will have its own timeline.

Sure, one more approved is one less to keep ours waiting

But I wouldn't look at the very few cases that were approved that were mailed after ours or close to ours as our getting closer to adjudication. I think the averages play out pretty good in terms of helping determine when you might get looked at (obviously not always, as every case is different). But whether the glass is half full or empty, Lota was just lucky. I am not heartened at all by it, happy for them, but not expecting mine any sooner.

Are you referring to the 129F? i thought she had the I-130 approved.

I used the word petition as a generic word. Both the I-130 and I-129F are petitions for visas. The four early adjucations seem to all be I-130 petitions.

The purpose of my post was not to get into semantics, but to help raise the spirits of those who were not prepared for the wait or are having problems with waiting.
