Hi all,

I was wondering if my fiancé documents should be translated to English for the interview .  I’m thinking since it’s in the DR it shouldn’t be.  Also should I have my documents translated in Spanish.  Thanks!

Hi everyone

for the interview did you or do you plan on taking photos from ALL your trips as proof of relationship? Or is it just proof of relationship AFTER filing the I-129f?

I submitted photos of my trips when I filed, and have only been back once since filing.

I assume they only want to see proof of ongoing relationship after filing . But I would like suggestions 😊 thanks!

Hello

Bring call logs, actual photos of u and partner plus family members n friends, social media posts, chat logs.. of your ongoing relationship before filing during and after.. I did and it worked out. Depending on the officer know everything about your partner!!! I was asked his shoe size, clothes, likes, dislikes, common interests, what we liked doing together etc.. Yes good luck 😊

You need to do your profile on ustraveldocs.com. pay ur visa fee and book your VAC and embassy appt allow at least 2 wks between the two so the embassy has your fingerprints and u have ur exam results by the time u go to the embassy appt.

Well, my husband told me they have a 30 day limit before expiring and getting a new one. Police and Birth Certificates from D.R.

I advise everyone to get those two a few days before your interview appointment , so they are valid.

Does the beneficiary have to fly out of Santo Domingo? Can they fly out of Punta Cana? (That’s the closest airport to my fiancé)

The beneficiary can fly out of anywhere. In fact, they don't even have to fly out of the country they are from. A vise is for ENTERING the United States. Not for where the immigrant flies comes from.

The beneficiary can fly out of anywhere closer to home. They only have one entry to the US. And flying to US it doesnt matter the airport Im from NJ and my fiance flew through JFK NYC. Easier process and cheaper airline ticket.
