Hello guys, I was just wondering how accurate the Visa Journey Timeline is...

I'm a March 2018 CR1 Filer...and according to my timeline, I should hear from the USCIS between Sept 28 to October 4.

Should I follow the advise there to call USCIS if I haven't heard from them at such time?

Any of you successful with these Timelines, please?

Timeline

Timelines are based off users who enter/ed info into THEIR timelines. It is not a service or guide of the USCIS.  They are fairly accurate, or at least close enough, but it is just a sampling of all applications. But patience is the name of the game. You can not contact USCIS until day 225 to check the status anyways, and really, theyll tell you to keep waiting.

i 485, 130, EAD and AP

I would say that if your timeline is correct, it would be quite early and lucky for a CR-1 approval.  That is only ~ 7 months, more in line with the time K-1s are currently taking.

Our K-1 approval came after 185 days, which was something like 5-10 days ahead of the VJ prediction.  Also, since the prediction is only as good as the info VJ members put into their timelines, ours did fluctuate by 7-10 days throughout the process.

Best of luck!  :-)

You may already be aware, but your I-130 processing time depends greatly on your service center. I was sent to Nebraska and ours took 205 days (nearly 7 months) from receipt by USCIS to approval. If you visit this site: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

You can check the current estimated processing time for your service center. Just select I-130 and Texas from the dropdowns. As of today, this is what it shows:

Assuming you the form type is U.S. citizen filing for a spouse, they currently estimate 6.5 to 8.5 months processing. The receipt date shown means that if your receipt date on your NOA1 is January 12, 2018 or earlier, you can contact USCIS to make a case inquiry.

Hope this helps! You're getting there!
