Hello fellow VJers!

Yes, tonight is the night! Pu will have her interview at the US Embassy in Bangkok tonight (morning in Thailand). I just want to thank all the members that have helped us get this far, and also thank all the well wishers for your messages of encouragement over the last few days.

We're both really anxious about this, as so much rides on a stranger's perception of our relationship. I'm sure you can understand! :unsure::thumbs:

Thanks again, and I will post the outcome later tonight.

11/13/2006 Received NOA1 - (Late due to my changing residences on 11/1. FYI, move before you file!)

11/13/2006 Called Customer Service to change address

11/29/2006 Touched!

12/02/2006 Received verification of Change of Address - snail mail

01/10/2007 Bought ticket to visit Pu on Valentines Day!

01/17/2007 NOA2!! via email

01/29/2007 NVC Left - Headed for Bangkok!

02/07/2007 Packet 3 mailed from US Embassy!

05/16/2007 Interview. Embassy requests passport amended. Luckily the turnaround time is two days in Bangkok.

05/21/2007 Pu returns to Embassy with new passport, visa granted. Visa issued the following day.

05/26/2007 Pu arrives in USA!

05/30/2007 Married!

06/26/2007 Overnighted AOS petition to Chicago Lockbox

06/27/2007 AOS petition delivered to Chicago lockbox, signed for by V Bustamante

March 21 2007 spoke with NVC- case mailed today (via DHL) to Ankara

NEVER RECEIVED Packet 3- downloaded from Ankara website

May 14, 2007 Packet 3 sent to Ankara Embassy

June 13 2007 interview

May 21 appeal approved- interview rescheduled for 5 July 2007

5 July 2007 interview!

July 10- Visa in hand!!!

September 26 2007- Omer arrives JFK POE

November 23 2007- Married!

Turns out there is a clerical error on Pu's passport. The Embassy had her get a new one. She will go back on Monday, and hopefully everything will be ok this time.
