When they called Moh for fingerprints back in August, we emailed for a few days trying to get him an appointment time so he could get back in. He ended up just going to the gate and telling them he had been contacted and they let him in. Now in this situation he had been called, but I would think if a mistake was made in the issuance of a visa, they may see him. It might be worth a try and couldn't hurt anything. I would still recommend trying to email as well. Maybe tell them you will be coming because your ticket is for X date to travel and you need it resolved.

They're not gonna just let you in the embassy. Spend the money and call them. Or just go ahead and travel and take your chances. If they send you back to Egypt then it's part of God's plan.

If you live near (I forget where you said you live) then just pop by if you don't get an answer to the phonecall or email. My husband went there to get his packet 3 when they had left something out and he had no problems.

Don't wait for them to answer emails....cuz they might not. My husband went in person to ask why he hadn't yet been scheduled for an interview and they gave him an appointment a few days later.
