Dear all,

I'm filling AOS as a F2B Category (LPR Mother asking for +21 year old unmarried son). Priority Date: January, 2013

I maintained my F1 Student Status during these years, currently going to University.

My question is: Should I need to maintain my F1 Status after I received my green card, or after filed the I-485.

I have F1 Status Valid until 2020.

Thanks for your help.

until you get your GC

you must maintain legal status at all times

the GC will trump your student visa, and you can study or work as a green card holder
