I'm in the process of a K1 Visa. I have filled form i-134. Just in case my income is not sufficient i will fill out form I-864 Join sponsor from my parents. My parents are married and they file their taxes together. They both don't have jobs and all income comes from line 17. Rental real estate, royalties, partnerships... from their 1040 Tax return. Do i only need to fill one I-864 for both or do i have to fill I-864a or how can i put them both as joint sponsor?

What if i don't meet the income requirements in my I-134?

then they file another I-134 to take with yours.

however, for k1 only one person can be a co-sponsor. so you need to chose. and that one person's income should meet the requirements by itself.
