Hey bro...Are you an IR 1 visa applicant? I submitted docs on 9/16. Just wondering how long it's gonna take to receive CC.

Yup spouse visa and my passport scan copy got rejected as I by mistake upload in Landscape instead of Portrait. So submitted the correct one yesterday again and all my doc except passport scan copy got approved in 3 working days. Hope got CC in coming days.

I paid my immigration fee last saturday for the NVC stage. I still don't see that they received the payment. It still shows that my payment is in process. But when I made the payment for my AOS fee last week it was already processed in 2 days. Should I worry?

Did the payment get deducted from your bank account? Check again coz in my case, I found out after two days that the payment did not go through due to problem on the website. Repayment cleared in 2 days thereafter.

Hello guys

my case is non pivote cr1

anyone know how long it take for cc ?

Hey Faizal

Have you called NVC to check if they have received the documents/package?

So we had sent them the documents on the 1st of September, when we called NVC, they stated that they received it on 6th.

We got to know on 14th that we have got the cc (We had to call them after seeing changes on our account on the ceac website)

So approximately 9 days from the date they confirmed receipt.

Also getting a cc is not the real problem, the scheduling of interviews post that is.

Usually the Mumbai embassy would schedule within one month of cc.

Since last month its taking 1and a half to 2 months.

Anyways fingers crossed and all the very best

NVC received my documents on the 17th and logged it into the system. It reached NVC on the 14th according to USPS. I can hope for a cc next week.

I'm hoping we get an interview sometime next month or November for the Mumbai embassy.

Yes. It does reach them earlier but I believe it shows in the system once put in the file or the system and that is how they calculate the received date.

All the very best. I am sure its around the corner for you :)

Fingers crossed for all of us out here who are in the process and eagerly waiting to be united with our loved one/s.

October would be great! Lets hope for the best!
