Apologies, I'm not sure if my original post went through on my phone, but has anyone dealt with a 601a rejection from the lockbox?  Ours came back on Saturday (10 days after I had fedex'd it) rejected due to "no signature" HOWEVER my husband, the applicant, DID sign the petition, we had no interpreter or preparer so... it's only his signature one time right (Part 6.a.)?? ... very confused, but we just reprinted the entire 601a petition and he re-signed and dated under "Applicant's Signature" as we see no other additional place for his signature.

I emailed an inquiry to the email provided on our Notice of Action questioning why it was rejected for no signature when clearly there is one, but I noticed it could be 15 business days back for a reply... we can't wait that long! I called USCIS and the agent had no idea what I could do and thought I "would probably would be fine" just resending the exact rejected package back (UH NO).  Not a very helpful gent.

So I have decided to fedex a fresh copy of our exact same package today with his new signature because every single page of our first petition came back with a long line of numbers stamped on the bottom... Unfortunately, our signature pages on our affidavits and hardship letters were original so I have to send those pages back even with the weird long number stamp on the bottom.

Honestly all I can think of is that the agent made a mistake.  It really rattled me though seeing our packet back so soon; ruined my whole weekend.  If it was a mistake, I hope the agent who actually reviews and makes a decision on our petition is much more careful.
