On the interview date confirmation email, under the list of things to bring, it says, “You MAY need to bring an updated financial document and police certificate.” What is updated financial document mean..? And when it says, “MAYBE” what’s that mean..? Can’t sleep.. #help...

Bring latest 2017 IRS transcripts and tax returns. They used maybe in a case if you submitted a long time ago. So check if submitted one is latest ones just bring the copies to the interview otherwise obtain new ones. Same is the case with police certificates usually its good for 6 months so check and make sure it's not expired.
