Form I-864 & I-864EZ question

Question 1 Persons you are sponsoring part 3 item 29.............. = 1

Persons not sponsored in this affidavit

Question 2  Yourself ................................................................. .      =1

Question 3 If you are currently married enter "1" for your spouse =1

Questions 4 thru 7 are all......................................................... ....= 0

 

Question 8 Add together item numbers 1-7   The total ............... .= 3  

 

The problem is there is no option to mark your spouse as the person you 

are sponsoring.  So the correct total should be 2. 

 

So If i mark currently married as zero so I get the correct total I am lying

 

If I add 1+1+1   and respond to Question 8 as = 2   The total number is wrong.  

 

What should I do?

You follow the instruction not to count anybody twice, by leaving the spouse space at zero. BECAUSE you do not have a spouse "that is NOT sponsored in this affidavit".  No lie.

i answered same and wrote in sidelines "this person is alreadyj on here"

so just 2
