When to present documents to back up claim

Hello. Pls I have interview coming up soonest. When interfacing with an interviewer, do I need to present documents to support any claim without been asked, or do I wait for such to be requested for by the interviewer?

Okay. To be precised. Have a childhood friend in the US, he is a citizen now. He is having his wedding by November and has invited me over to be his best man. Am just gonna be visiting for 2wks, then return to my home country. Am a correctional officer in my country. Have gotten a letter of introduction from my org, and have handy my friend's wedding card, myriad others. Have interview date in the coming week. Hence, need advice on approaching questions and relating with the consular officer?

if so,  and the CO asks you must say yes,   and the tourist visa will be denied as the CO will assume your intent is to come and AOS to stay

Okay...my fiancee is not an American by from my country. Thanks I appreciate. But is it necessary to bring my engagement and eventual marriage to the purview of the interview respect strong tie...?

If the CO asks you if you are married or engaged, answer truthfully.

If the CO asks you a question about anything else, answer truthfully.

The truth.  If you are traveling to the US to attend a wedding as the best man, then say so.
