Hi All,

Here is my timeline:

April 4, 2007 - Got married in India

April 21, 2007 - Sent I-130 to Texas Service Center

April 24,2007 - Texas Service center received the package. Signed by M.SALCEDO

I havent yet received the NOA1 notice nor has my check been cashed. I want to know if anyone ever has received their NOA1 notice BEFORE their check was cashed by USCIS.

Well, it's probably buried way back in the posts. But back when we first filed in Feb. I vividly remember several people had received their NOA1 before their checks were cashed. But to be fair the times you see in the signatures of members on here are not completely accurate, they're back dated. The NOA has the issue date printed on it which most people post but is like a week before the NOA physically arrives.

You will probably be getting your check cashed and your NOA1 be the end of this week. Don't worry yet. It took 24 days for my check to be cashed, and 26 days before I received the actualy NOA1 in the mail. I remember other members who waited in the range of 20+ days recently.

I called the customer service line at 23 days, and they said that NOA1s for I130s can take up to 45 days these days. There is a big slowdown. Mine I130 was received exactly a week before yours, and I received mine last week. Be patient, it will come. :thumbs:

04/16/2007 - Sent I-130 to VSC via USPS Express Mail

05/12/2007 - NOA1 received by snail mail after a loooong wait

05/14/2007 - Sent I-129F for K3 to Chicago Lockbox via USPS Express Mail

10/22/2007 - I129F APPROVED (161 days), I130 APPROVED (188 days)

11/08/2007 - I129F received at NVC, embassy case number generated.

11/13/2007 - I129F forwarded to embassy.

11/18/2007 - 129F petition received at embassy

01/09/2008 - finally, DOS gives me the interview date, April 16, 2007 (ouch)

01/23/2008 - never got packet 4, emailed embassy

04/11/2008 - picked up packet 4, did medical

04/14/2008 - medical report pickup, no problems

04/16/2008 - interview date- APPROVED!!!!!

04/18/2008 - both of us are home at last, POE JFK!

05/21/2008 - sent AOS and EAD

05/27/2008 - received NOA1 for AOS and for EAD

06/02/2008 - received Biometrics appt letter

06/19/2008 - Biometrics appointment scheduled - DONE

06/19/2008 - both AOS and EAD touched because of biometrics

07/29/2008 - EAD approved.

05/13/2009 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!/ Card production ordered email

05/18/2009 - Welcome Letter received

06/12/2009 - Second card production ordered email

06/19/2009 - Approval notice send email

06/22/2009 - Green Card received

04/09/2012 - Applied for Citizenship by Express Mailing N400 to NBC

04/10/2012 - N400 received by USCIS

06/23/2012 - Biometrics appointment

07/27/2012 - Appointment scheduled for N400 interview

09/05/2012 - Interview passed, oath ceremony completed, and Naturalization certificate received.

My package was received on april 13th and they cashed the check on the 24th. Still no NOA1...But hopeful it will come soon....lol

Hi,

I also sent my I-130 to TSC. USPS confirmed receipt on April 23rd, signed by M. S. (I guess that stands for M. Salcedo). I haven't received NOA1 nor has the check been cashed. So they'll probably get to us soon. Also, remember that TSC does not handle K-3 visas any longer, they forward to CSC (I believe, correct me if i'm wrong). This is probably why it is taking longer than the usual 2 weeks

One thing I'm wondering is, the person who signs for the package (i.e. M. Salcedo), is that person a USCIS representative, or is it just a USPS employee at the post office?

Naturalization Timeline:

Jan. 03, 2020 - N-400 filed online

Jan. 23, 2020 - Biometrics appointment

Apr. 08, 2020 - Interview scheduled

Just got my NOA1 today, May 21st. That's almost a month after they received it, although the notice date is May 17th. However, they still have not cashed my check.

So, if you haven't already, you might receive your NOA1 in the mail soon, ceteris paribus.

That seems correct. CSC mailed my NOA1 on May 17, and the check was cashed yesterday, May 21st.

Naturalization Timeline:

Apr. 08, 2020 - Interview scheduled
