Tourist visa

I’m a USA citizen living in Ecuador. We are travelling to USA and would like a friend from Ecuador to travel with us. He had his interview. Interviewer said everything looked great and answered questions well. But was denied because did not send his invitation letter and proof of enrollment in school beforehand. Interviewer said to reschedule and send these documents ahead of interview. We have looked everywhere. We can not figure out where to send these documents. Or how.. Sent email to US embassy in Ecuador and got a cookie cutter response. Any one know where to send? It’s purley a tourist visa. Not immigration visa.

For tourist visa, I'm  don't think it will be reschedule. Possible the CO asked for your friend apply for another interview.

I’m sorry. I mispoke. Yes. Apply for another interview. Which has been approved and scheduled. He did this the very next day. Do not know how or where to send documents.

The official link from the embassy website says to bring any documentation with to the interview.

says “For Visa applications that require an in-person interview at the Consular Section, applicants must bring all required documents with them to the interview.”
