Updated Address using Online tool - now what?

Hello all,

I just used the online tool to update my address on both my N400 and I-751. The system wouldn’t allow me to do it together so I had to submit two requests for each application and got two confirmation emails.

My question now is what next? First, do I need to call also to ensure they update it? And secondly I expect my N400 will be transferred to a new field office as I am moving county’s from LA to San Bernardino (same service district though). According to VJ timelines, San Bernardino is processing applications in 5-6 months and I’ve been waiting 5 already. Just wondering how this transfer happens from one office to the other and what delays I might face. Thanks all!

You will receive a notice either in the mail or email when they change in about a week. Keep an eye out.

Thanks!

Does anyone know how the case will be handled? San Bernardino processes application in 5-12 months. Where as LA processes them in 12-16 months. I have been waiting 5 months so far since filing in a April. Will the transfer to the new office be quick and will they treat my application as a new one or will they process it according to my priority date? Thanks so much.
