My fiancé got a quote a few months ago. Was gunna be just over 1000£. That was door to door.  Not door to port. Was 125sq ft.or approx 5x5x8. Only requirement was that 2 people had to be able to move it.

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

Brought my stuff over as extra baggage in the year before.

I’m using PSS ( like BJ) to send a couple of big things. They will only ship it once you’re you have your visa FYI.

Decent price for air freighting under $500 as its not allot of stuff. I have also been bringing multiple suitcases for the past year :)

Depends what exactly the ‘stuff’ is and I guess the sentimental value of it. For me, I’ve been leaving things each time I’ve visited Vegas. So it’s resulted in me actually having to not bring much when I leave soon. Also, he needs to ask himself if things can be ‘replaced’ as items are materialistic; although sentimental things aren’t. I guess your fiancé will have to weigh that up. Plus it’s not as if he won’t visit the wonderful UK again!!! I can’t wait to return as I adore my country. Good luck and all the best :)
