California processing center recieve my I129f on oct. 27 2017.

I got an rfe in august 2018 and they recieve my reply august 10.

They inquire about criminal record and I have none. I send them court record check and live scan and statement of facts concerning 4 arrests, 2dui and 2 faiure to appear...all happened over 20 years ago...both backround checks found no criminal history.

Just wondering how long before they respond....anyone have a similar case or experience?

Read the rfe carefully. They don’t want a copy of the background check they are asking for certified court documents from the courthouse of the arrest and a certified copy of the final court disposition. Again the question is arrest, not conviction or whether or not it’s on your record. If the record doesn’t exist they want a certified letter from the court that the record doesn’t exist. A background check will not suffice. You may very get a NOID notice of intent to deny and they will give you one more chance to provide them with the information so i would start asking the courts for that information now so you have if

Hey thanks for the information.

The specific question was if I was ever arrested for any offense in any country and I answer yes 2failure to appear for unpaid traffic tickets and 2 dui.

I provided dates and outcome in sworn avidavit and 1certified record check from court stating that there is no record of those arrests and live scan fingerprint check from department of justice to confirm no record exists. These arrests took place more than 20 years ago and last dui was in 1975.

Are You sure that is not good enough?

Your scaring me.

You are fine.  IT sounds like you provided what they were looking for and that is a "certified letter with a court seal/stamp that there is no record for each of these arrests."

I didn;t realize you had provided them with this letteer - i thought you sent a background check and that was it.

Everyone who has gone through the rfe phase should please write how long they waited for noa2 after sending their response to the rfe

We need to some sort of encouragement.😫

And to everyone waiting on their noa2 after responding to rfe, y'all need to gather here for a selfie 🤳 so we can know ourselves.😂😂😂

The approval after they received your rfe response varies from every case and every adjudicator. There are adjudicators who approves rfe in just 3days after they received it and there are also others who approves after few weeks and worst case is sometimes months... Nobody knows actually when, but one thing i know for sure, our approval is on the way..
