Hi,I have a query regarding my brother’s CR2 visa applied by my step-father back in 2016.Actually,my Brother appeared for his interview On 16th January,2018 in New Delhi and I went with him to the Embassy because he was only 17. Having said that, everything thing went well during the interview.Though, seconds later,The CO handed over a white letter called 221g for more evidence of Bona Fide relationship to my step father of my brother. My brother’s passport was about to expire as well so,we got it renewed and sent some of the evidence with old and renewed passports to the US Embassy through VFS.After around 26 days, on August 15,2018,we got back my brother’s passport with an another 221g saying”YOU HAVE BEEN REFUSED A VISA UNDER SECTION 221g of immigration and nationality act because your application is incomplete. To continue your case, you must provide the following:#A new original police clearance certificate from original passport office if you will be unable to submit new medical report and updated DS 260 to the Embassy before August 1,2018. # A new medical examination report from an embassy-approved panel physician as once submitted has expired. # please update and resubmit your form ds 260 online with your new passport details. You can access the form here:http://CEAC.state.gov/ceac/. WARNING:failure to submit the required information within one year may cause your application to expire. You must submit the above documents and passport(s) to any of the document drop-off locations. Now the query is that why did the Embassy inform us to submit Only PCC before August 1,2018 in the first line of the letter I also want to state that my mother’s time of getting the conditions removed on GC was on September 3,2018.Is this because of my mom

And what does gettin now this letter mean?

I would feel glad to have an answer on the query of mine!

It’s saying you need to submit new police certificates and medicals. Because the case has taken so long, the old ones have expired. They would only ask you to submit new if they plan to issue the visa so it’s good news. And no nothing to do with your mother’s roc.

You misunderstood the reference to August, it says if you could have submitted documents before then the old one would have been valid, but clearly it’s after that now so you need to get new ones.
