Hi VJ Members,

Need some help with just a few quick questions.

  1. I am Pakistani and never been abroad so as per VJ threads and other Pakistan VJ members I don't need Police Character Certificat at the time of my interview. So I am a little confused here as on Ceac web its ask to upload PCC or another option is (not available). So should I click on not available and submit my legal documents.
  2. And for AOS  on my  i-864ez should I left empty USCIS online account number ( If any) empty as I never been to any other country including the USA and am talking about me the Beneficiary

Thanks

1.  Comments: Pakistan has no nationwide tracking system for criminal activities. Police Character Certificates are available for a fee from District Coordinating Offices. However, they are not an accurate reflection of an individual's criminal record. An applicant who has committed a crime in one district may be able to obtain a clean Character Certificate from that district or another. Given the inaccuracy of these certificates, they are not required for consular processing

2. Leave it blank or enter zeros. However, it is not YOUR affidavit of support.  It is the petitioner's affidavit of support FOR you.

Since it is "not available", I don't see any other choice.  Do you?

instead of taking the risk I think i should apply for one and submit the scan copy on Ceac will take 4-5 days. On the interview for sure they will not ask for it but on Ceac have to submit. Don't want any delay in my NVC process.

How are you going to apply for something that is not available?  A meaningful or otherwise required police report is NOT AVAILABLE in Pakistan.

No you can apply for PCC as its applied at the higher Police office of the city and later they verified at your local police station near to your home that you have a criminal record or not. And after you will visit the local office they will send it to you by courier. But I think it's not up to the mark as the USA required. Even you can access online after its issued.

Why to apply for one when NVC doesn’t ask for it.

From reciprocity by country for Police records from Pakistan:

Given the inaccuracy of these certificates, they are not required for consular processing.“

what’s the risk when NVC doesn’t accept what you send!!!

First thing first, you wanna remove what you uploaded coz you uploaded your NVC docs that anyone here can see like your birth certificate, passport n such

when you post the pic, take the snapshot of the screen and post so your private information will remain private.

For the missing PC part, if you have the option to select Not Available do so, otherwise you can upload a note writing “PerSate department, police certificate from Pakistan isn’t required”.
