Car Purchase and associated receipts > financial comingling?

My husband and I recently got married, he's Costa Rican... I'm working to make a strong case for our petition and one thing that I'd like to include is the purchase of a car in that country. I own the car, but we have various receipts detailing repairs and other things that we bought for the car over the course of time. Some receipts are in my husand's name and some are in mine, showing that we both contributed financially to the repairs for the car.

I'm wondering if this is a good thing to include and if it helps to prove financial comingling? I do have other receipts with both our names, and a few other unrelated documents to show financial comingling like rent receipts, utility contract, a few receipts of sent money... We don't have a joint bank account yet, I'm trying to get that set up so we can at least start showing bank history maybe later this year... (on a side note, I have no idea what US banks will allow someone without an SSN to have a joint account, if you have any insight into that i'd love to know as well. It would make our financials a lot easier for sure)
I have other evidence as well but I am wondering how strong a case the car would make. Honestly buying a car was a big part of our lives together and I don't want to skip over that if I think it will help our case.

Any advice appreciated, thanks!

Unless you are living together with your husband in Costa Rica, car maintenance receipts only show you paid for car maintenance.  Couple who live apart in separate countries will not be expected nor required to have evidence of joint finances.

Correct, and if you DO live together or have spent a lot of time together in Costa Rica, the evidence of that time together is far more important than anything related to the car.

Okay, no we're not currently living together but we were from January to August of this year, and around August-September of last year.

Other than that, I really just have photos of us (and a few family members) spanning a range of time, chat logs, maybe a few emails shared together and  email confirmation of flights to show when I was in Costa Rica (no boarding passes though... I don't think I ever kept those unfortunately). i plan to get affidavits from people close to us to attest to our relationship.

Finally, for more financial stuff, I put him as a beneficiary/authorized user on a few of my accounts so I want to send evidence of that as well.

I have no idea if this is enough. We did basically everything together and I want to get that across in the petition... obviously I will be saving all evidence of everything we do now going forward !

You would have stamps in your passport showing exactly when you entered Costa Rica and when you returned to the US.  Those are actual "primary evidence" of your time spent together in person.  Photos are "secondary evidence" but also important.  Forget the affidavits.  Concentrate on evidence of time spent together.  It trumps EVERYTHING else.
