And, if you're on the other end of Russia, Mongolia is receptive.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Hey. I found only the phone number of the Embassy in Kiev.
Need email more.

Medical documents made in Russia will be valid?
Or do we need to undergo a medical commission again in Ukraine?

Thank you.

You will have to do medical again in the country where your interview takes place.

Is somebody else trying to change embassies now?..

We are waiting for transfer to happen for almost three weeks already. Did someone face the same problem?

My fiancee is still dug in and looking for an appointment in Moscow and also not pushing too hard to get into a Whatsapp group I told her about that tracks appointment availability. Saw someone with a CR-1 get an appointment for Nov. 29, but I don't know if CR-1s share the same slots as K-1s. It's all a big mystery and the embassy and State Department aren't willing to share anything besides "We're sorry. It's due to Russia imposed staff reductions." Actually, it's due to US imposed staff reductions which were just reciprocated by Russia, but nice trying to pass the blame for ignorant people who haven't been following this high school drama.

The Moscow interview availability seems to have open up well, in mid-October. It seems interview availability is possible. I see some of the timelines updated here, and it seems it takes 1-2 months for a Moscow interview, after NOA2. We have decided to go ahead with Moscow and wait it out. We hope to have the interview in January, so I can join.

My fiancee actually just had her interview and was approved on Tuesday. She was able to schedule it back on the 16th and kept it a secret from me for a few days. 😄

Congratulations. We decided to stick with Moscow now, as the interviews have been more available. In fact, today there were 7 appointments available today. If we have an NVC number, we could have gotten one...

How did you find out about the 7 open appointments? I thought that we could only see when appointments were open after filling out an application on traveldocs.

There is a WhatsApp group that the Russian girls use to communicate about the visa experience. My fiancee asked me to join the WhatsApp group for the men. The girls group seems to have insight into interview availability there in  Moscow.

I think the girls constantly monitor and call hourly to the embassy for status updates. That information is shared among their group.

Oh wow. I still have a while to go (hopefully will hear back in April.) I wonder if they’ll still be doing it around then and if they’d let me join. Thanks so much!!

How do we find the WhatsApp Group? My fiancee is very nervous about interview availability.

Does anyone have a link to a WhatsApp group that is watching appointments in Moscow?

I think they discuss the WhatsApp groups in Russian-language forums; at least, that's what I got from what Anastasia told me.
