Will it help if I try and visit her again prior to her interview? That is if we even got that far?

Yes, you should definitely do that. India is a high fraud country and many indian couples who only visit once gets denied.

No one here can say exactly what the officer will say or decide.  However, we are telling you that there have been cases which ended poorly.  Does that mean your case will be denied?  No.  But the officer will consider the totality of your case.  Face time, age difference, religions, etc. all are pieces of the "pie" he or she will consider.

Again, none of us know what will happen.  We are only relating what we have seen here in the past....good luck.

Thank you for the input. That makes me so anxious. and sad too

Honestly, if I were you I'd visit again and get married and apply for a CR1 spouse visa.

With everything you said, there is a possibility of your K1 getting denied.

Totally agree

get over there and marry

K1 with only 1 visit and age difference at  high fraud country is probably a  denial / we went thru this / took 6 years and 6 visits for an approval

http://mypathtocitizenship.com/which-countries-are-on-the-uscis-high-fraud-list/

money an issue!!! the K1 and AOS after marriage are costly

the engagement party will look like wedding

and as far as additional evidence at interview most CO's don't even look at it / the packet is reviewed the week before the interview and some CO's have already made a decision before from the evidence provided in application

good luck

go and marry

I am thinking about writing my senator- and explain to him about this. Do you think it will help?

You have a right to contact your representatives, but why?  The Senator doesn't make the decision, nor can he/she influence the decision.

Again, NO ONE here knows what the officers will decide. We are merely relating the experiences of other posters.  Having said that, I would suggest you make more visits if at all possible.

How much contact with her did you have prior to meeting her? Did you provide proof of that communication in your application? You should have visited at least twice before sending in your application.

And if you can't take the time to visit, why choose someone from India? Relationships takes time and effort. If money is an issue, how will you pay for the application? Not just for this one but of AOS, ROC and possibly citizenship?

I chose her because I am from Indian origin as well and I wanted to marry some one who was from same background as I am from.

I agree. If money is an issue how are you going to afford adjustment of status, removal of conditions and possibly citizenship?

Money is not an issue that way. I am saying that if I go for a month to get married - i would have to be out of my work for a month- i am a commission based worker here.

Why not try to find someone from India in the United States who you can spend more time and money on? Money and time is tight for you and yet, you want to petition for a woman who you can't afford or have the time to visit?

Congessmen have no control over this process

they can only see the same letters u will get

reason is immigration is not under a federal budget but works by our fees

not knowing this i wrote to everyone from both my senstors to the president

I recd nice letters from all

the only time it was of any help was our last interview when Senators office wrote a supporting letter / stlll the embassy had the right to ignore it if they chose

Hello everyone, I am wondering if any one knows how to mitigate the risk of being denied a K1 Visa in case of significant age Difference? The difference between me and my fiance is about 22 years. I have heard that at interview the application may be denied just because of significant age difference. Our relationship is genuine- but we dont know what can we provide to prove that the relationship is genuine. We have submitted the proof of our meeting and also several picture of our engagement.

Morning! I am 17 years older than my husband and we just filed the N-400 application (having gone all the way through green card applications, etc) and no one ever gave us a hard time. Submit everything you can get your hands on and be confident you have a real relationship.
