No what!!!!

Well folks, as you know my name check cleared almost a month ago, finger prints taken again about 3 weeks ago and cleared the next day. Last week went for infopass and was told that the officer is on vacation and they cant do anything until he is back. So this morning i went for another infopass, went to the window, the lady went back to talk to the officer who is supposed to be reviewing and making a decision on the case, she came back only to tell me that he said there is one more agency that they have to check with and thats it, no clarification, nothing. Now this is very frustrating, which agency is that and if that were true, why havent they checked with that "agency" sometime in the past 18 months my name check was pending? Do you guys know what agencies they check with? I mean before they were telling me that no decision can be made on the case until the namecheck clears and now that it is clear, I get this sh*t.

I'm sorry, I have no idea what agencies are checked. I'm wondering if it depends on what country you're from? Did you ask them what agencies are checked? Perhaps it's on the USCIS website.

I note you have nothing on your profile, so I have no idea what timelines you have, or what country you were from. It may be hard or for people to share their experience with nothing indicated on your profile.

No, but I do know that IBIS is not an agency, it's a data base. USCIS can check IBIS itself, but may not be able to clear an IBIS 'hit' itself - that may have to be done by wherever the item of information that was hit came from.
