Hello everyone    I received my NOA 2 in the mail a week ago today and  I was wondering how I should go about contacting the NVC

Should I be asking at this point for the case number ?  or simply asking if they have received the case from USICS?   I  know not much time has passed but I have read in several places that it is wise to call and check regularly with the NVC and I am wondering if others might have tips on what to ask, how to ask etc...    or maybe just can help me understand the process a bit better.

Thanks in advance

NVC should receive your case within 2 weeks. You can call them to find out if they've gotten it. As for the case number, you're looking at an 8-week wait from the time NVC receives your case. You can continue to call them to see if they have your case number if you like. I didn't bother to call them and I got mine via email and in the mail at 8 weeks.
