I think you're right. Our interviewer mentioned that having two pending applications can spur them to move your original process forward.

 

Our interview went well on Nov 2nd, but we're still waiting to hear officially and receive a green card.

On April 20th 2021 i received a status change saying my card is being produced the very next day April 21st 2021 the status changed to Case Was Reopened 

 

this is for i-485

 

does anyone know what’s going on and why they would reopen my case after they said they are producing my card?

My wife did her biometrics on feb 15/21 and we are still waiting for an interview to be scheduled? Any one has any idea when the Detroit office will mail us her interview date?

It shouldn't be too long. If I remember it right I received my interview letter a week after I had my biometric.
 

Detroit is one of the fastest field offices to process adjustment of status but, with this pandemic everything went slow. Hoping you'll get your interview letter sooner than later.🤞🙏

We are adjusting from a K1 that was filed in may 2020, and biometrics in august 2020. We still haven’t received an interview notice.
