Had the interview today, my husband will have his Green Card in 7-10 days! The wait was kind of long (maybe an hour) but he apologized a bunch. He said it'll be pretty quick since they already had everything. I printed off a bunch of stuff and all he asked to see was our IDs and his actual birth certificate, lol. He asked how we met and all the questions you have to answer on the AOS (terrorism, fraud, etc). Took his picture and his prints and we were on our way! Interview took about 10 minutes all together! So relieved and he's happy he'll finally be able to work because we haven't even received the EAD or AP!

That's up to the not always predictable postal service, but it took us a week (status changed on 8/19; mail arrived 8/26).

Hello everyone, I have a few questions that can hopefully get some answers!

1. Does this mean we don't have to do anything else for two years (except 90 days before the GC expires)?

2. Did anyone else not get a stamp (551 I think) in their passport? He was approved but didn't get a stamp.

1 .Yes , don't need to do anything except removal of conditions.

2 . I - 551 is placed in the  passport when the physical GC is not yet available ( ex when you enter the USA with a spouse visa or Diversity Visa ) Since you have the GC the stamp is not needed

Hi Detroit Fillers! I'm glad I can find a group for people in Michigan.  I had biometric last Friday September 13th in Detroit, can anyone please tell me when I can expect interview and EAD? I've noticed that Detroit is a fast field office

We applied for an SSN when we filed for our AOS. Do we still have to apply again?

Once you get the GC just applied SSN again. Don’t wait for the I-765 to be approved. Coz once the I-485 is approved they will no longer adjudicate the I-765.

I'll be interviewing in Detroit when the time comes, good to know the interview didn't take long
