Hello,

NVC fwded my 129F (K3) to Mumbai on 4/27/07. Still no news from the consulate on packet3. They don't reply to emails sent to mumbaiiv@state.gov. Can we go and submit packet 3 in person at the embassy without hearing from them?

Any shortcuts for getting a hold of a person on the phone at the consulate? It's been too anxious of a wait for the past 3 weeks hoping to hear form the consulate but they haven't sent one reply to my daily emails. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

I-130 NOA1 1/12/07

I-129F filed 1/18/07

I-129F and I-130 NOA2 from CSC 4/13/07

I-129F left NVC 4/27

...

GC received 2/28/08

Hello! Yes, there are several people who have submitted their Packet 3 in person at the Mumbai Consulate, go ahead and do that! And another hint, request them to put your info into the system WHILE YOU ARE WATCHING THEM. That worked for one lady! Mumbai takes a long, long time to enter your info into the system, send the packets and schedule the interview.
