Good day. Can you please help me- I need to prepare two separate packets of documents for interview or I can use one? (Child will come with me in one time)

Logically from instructions I can say needs one but how you did? Better to ask once more.

Which moments I have to know about making interview with a child 8 years old and about preparing documents for her?

Thank you for any help.

And luckiness for all. )

Kiev embassy website says separate files for every DS-160 applicant. There will be 2 of you, that means 2 separate files to me. It makes sense since the kid's file is different and much shorter than yours. At least that is what I am going to do for me and my son, 13. What I am less sure about, is the Affidavit of support. It is possible that your fiance fills separate forms for the two of you and doubles enclosures but it doesn't make sense to me and may well be confusing to him. This is something we'd better hear from someone who's been there and done that. The main thing is father's consent. This makes me totally confused because it must refer to immigration and постійне місце проживання, whereas technically an approved K1/K2 does not leave Ukraine for good but only for 90 days with an opportunity to never come back. Do we need a separate one at the border saying temporary travel?

Well about border I know a little more. I gonna take my court documents, divorce certificate, and certificate about my rights to the child-where is a sentence that child has name from my words.

But I about exactly interview  have no idea...

Look at the child as a separate applicant and cross out what does not apply. What does, in my opinion, is: birth certificate, passport, photos, affidavit of support,  father's consent letter (if the child has legally defined living father) medical and DS-160 submission/interview appointment confirmation, maybe bank slip as well. If there is a father on a birth certificate and he is not deceased (need proof) the Embassy will specifically request his consent for the child to immigrate and not just travel. In my case, my ex husband is a legal father to my child born within wedlock and my divorce decree establishes my full custody over my son, he lives 'with mother wherever she may live'. This is definitely not enough for K2 and I absolutely need my ex's notarized consent. Maybe your case is different. I am a lawyer but not a family law specialist and may recommend that you must

absolutrely know what you are doing well in advance and be able to legally prove it or seek advice from a family law specialist. Better to be safe than sorry.

thank you.

By the way, here is the list for the interview file. It is not particularly accurate to me, since court divorces do not need divorce certificates as of 2010, but never the less. As to birth registration based on mother's statement, they should have had experience with that, but again, I would have written them an email to be sure.
