Not really.

1.  USC are required by law to enter and exit the USA with a U.S. passport.

2.  He is a naturalized USC, and with that he lost his Philippine citzenship, thus his old passport is invalid.

3.  He must complete the dual citizenship process to obtain a valid Philippine passport.

:oops:Yes, I see that now. He could be screwed at immigration either before he leaves or upon his departure from the Philippines if he makes it that far without being stopped. Not something I would attempt!

If you are white and have a long nose, They don't ask for a US Passport

I was asked for one last year and meet both criteria (stereotypical WASP here!). :P

Made a quick trip to passport agency today after my duty and applied for an expedite. Shocked that it was only a $60 fee where other services online where charging as much as $300. Can pick up passport in 2 days and  flight is next week. Glad that was sorted out and really excited to see my love soon. Thank you for everyone's help!

In response to @Chris Duffy I am white (fair skinned haha)  but very much asian with chinky eyes to back it up so decided not to risk both immigration and embassy entry. By the way, I'm a her :) Female active military soldier and we're a same sex couple applying for a k1 visa. I hope you keep us in your prayers for an approval because this is our one shot going at it in getting married. Same sex marriage is not allowed in the Philippines so cr1 is out for us. With her philippine passport, not a lot of countries she can easily travel to and that will allow us to marry if we're not legal residents in that country. So please pray for our interview approval 🙏  Appreciate this forum so much and the people here always helping out those in need. Many thanks!

@vk1, as already mentioned, you no longer are a Philippine citizen and your Philippine passport is no longer valid. But you can apply for both at the Philippine consulate (or in the Philippines), if you want: http://www.philippineshonolulu.org/index.php?page=consular-services-honolulu/faq-honolulu/#dual

Not sure what the difference was, but in 2017 when I was there they were asking for it. Maybe heightened security given the troubles in the south?
