I had an infopass appointment this morning, 181 days since my case was transfered to CSC, to find out what is happening with my case.

I have had no touches since january 20th and was told by 'misinformation' that after 180 days i should have heard something. Guess what! Nothing.

So i went along to an infopass appointment and the lady told me my case was pending. Duh....really! I have made an infopass appointment.....through your website.....so ihave access to the internet.......therefore that same information that you just gave me! (Sowwy sir but i can do no more!!) BullS**t!! Make some calls find out why its taking so long! (You have not been waiting long, you only filed in october, it can take 1 to 2 years for some cases). Aargghhhh!!!

Every time they give you a timescale and that time passes they just give you another to make you go away without them having to do any work!

I am seriously considering senatorial assistance, i think Mrs Clintons office might be a little busy right now so i will try the other guy (Mental block on his name)! Has anyone had any luck with senatorial assistance? I would have been satisfied with "your case is awaiting the outcome of an fbi namecheck" but all i got was "its still pending". My guess is that its under the cat behind the refrigerator as suggested but other posters.

FRUSTRATED!!!!!!!

Sorry you did not get any other info out of them....... but 181 days is not long many have to wait much longer than that.... and chances are if you were transfered to CSC you will get approval without interview...

Hope you hear something soon....

My K1 was pending for almost a year and we contacted our Congresswoman. We had an interview in less than a week. I am not sure what they can do about AOS, but I think it's worth asking!

Someone correct me if I am wrong but as I was understanding it, if your case has been transferred to whereever (fill in the SC) you are wasting your time trying to find out anything from your local office. Your case IS NOT there anymore. What officers can see in your local office is exactly what you can see in the USCIS system. Save your time and theirs...

Good luck

Have you emailed CSC? I did, and after following the format recommended to me by John and Annie I got a reply saying I was waiting on the FBI namecheck. The first email I sent got a response saying they don't accept email inquiries (bull!) but the second time was the charm! Be sure to include in your email your spouses full name, A number, case number, and birthdate, and I guess being polite in the email will always help! :)

Thanks I'll give it a try. I would be content to know that the only hold up is an FBI name check. Confident that i will get through that as i have never had any involvement with the Law in any country....well if you don't count that time in Peru where i was caught smuggling coca leaves out of the country! 5 years in a peruvian jail! Its where i met my first wife.

DISCLAIMER: I have never been caught smuggling coca leaves out of peru, I have only been married the once (to the beautiful american lady in my lounge), and was never in a peruvian jail.

Hahahaha! Funny, funny, funny. Never try that humor with an IO or CBP official though...they wouldn't like it very much

The truth brother, the truth!

Infact, your name sounds familier. I heard of a jashley in that peruvian jail. Quite a reputation if i recall!
