Hello,

Has anyone from March have been approved, yet?

My Fiance's 129-F was received on March 1... I see they are processing February 6 today... This past Friday it was February 2.... so they jumped 4 days very quickly... we are really hoping ours is processed in about 3 weeks

January filer here. Be patient, I got approved after 193 days and some people from Jan or even earlier are still waiting. Do not let yourself stress out over some people who get approved super early, I've been there and it was a pain to watch all the people getting approved on my day and after me, while no updates for me. It's gonna happen any day now, but the March approvals right now are mostly just lucky, definitely not a majority :)

My fiance and I are just trying to plan our wedding and I have alot of family asking us why it's taking so long...people just don't understand...
I'm going to see my fiance in Tokyo October 2nd-14... I think it'll be done by then and probably have her interview or even medical by the time I get there around that time.

Just very anxious... and we really want to book the venue for the affair but not doing it until everyhting is done and approved.

I've been exactly there. What we ended up doing is setting our wedding date for November. even though the expected interview was meant to be at the beginning of September. As you can see, the timelines shifted and it takes longer and longer every month.

A few things to consider: it could be anywhere from 1 to 30 days before you get approved. If you get an RFE, will be longer.

Then it's about 2 weeks to receive the NVC number. Then, depends on your luck: NVC sends cases to embassies every 2 weeks. Here are batch dates:  Sep 18th, Oct 2nd, Oct 16th, Oct 30.

You need to have your NVC number a few days before the shipment date to make it to that batch. Then add a few more days for it to be delivered to Japan.

After that, depends on waiting time to schedule medical and interview, in Ukraine, there is no waiting for the interview plus my embassy allows doing medical before the embassy receives my file. Most don't.

Then, up to 7 days to get the passport back after the interview.

I was sooo optimistic myself, thought I would be in the US by now. But it just never goes as you want. I'd say December wedding could be reasonable.

Good luck! :)

Thanks... we are actually planning about the 2nd week of January in South Florida as I'm also relocating there for work.. my territory will be Miami so we have relators sending us listings for down there now.  I'd love to buy a place as soon as possible.

That's perfect -  I would totally book for Jan. Sounds reasonable to me!

Ours is just the oposite of the sites you list.  egov shows approval for EAD on 8/24, but myacount one does not mention that it was even completed.  Still waiting though...   Our file date was March 30, 2018
