received on november 02nd and case number was assigned on december 18 (6 weeks 2 days).

Am happy for you, i just received my approval letter in mail, i just want to know what happens once the case is sent to NVC, i don’t understand where you wrote “my case was assigned”, is it like a que? Like you need to wait and they would call you? Please let me know what is this assign thing after the NVC receives our case. :( why is it taking so long :(

Good morning  harish congratulations for your approval happy for you,

our case was approved on october 18 and sent to Nvc on October 24 ,My husband called them on november 05th and they said that they have received our case on nov 02nd,  and said that it takes 8 weeks to assign a case number (to assign is to create your case number) , so on 18 december we received an email with the case number and invoice number to pay the fee (120Dollar +325Dollar). they dont call you to informe that they received it you have to call them.

for us it took 8weeks from the approval to receive the case number by NVC.

now we are about to pay fees , good luck for all of us.

Very good evening to you too and Thank you very much 😊, i didn’t know about this before  thank you for letting me know, i only knew that i have to pay fees and submit sponsor documents once file is approved. Right now I just pray  all this stressful process of everyone come to an end ASAP. 😊

Was there any change in the your status online or is it still the original one?  My NOA1 is April 4th and I still have he original status that they received my petition on April 4th.

Anyone Get Approved lately i know it says January but i remember seeing April people get approved are we in May or June can anyone, post that has just got approved im still waiting im in August 2nd not long but would like to know where it is atm Thank You

Yes it means the office have received your RFE reply, bdw  did you got approved yet ? Mine got approved in like 4 days from the day they received it

My case is quite a complicated one and I believe that is the reason they’re yet to come back with a definite answer after the RFE was sent. I’ve been praying so hard they come back with an approval 😊

You will get approval soon dont worry  please keep checking new website, as they didn't changed my file status on old website frequently.

This is the new website where you have to make your account and register yourself, you can see your process of your ongoing form and alot more. I guess they change the status here at first, and then they change it at old website. Here you go https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/

I’ve just tried it but it is not saying much on the new website 😥
