Nobody contacts you before you have your case number assigned. I’m calling them every other day, and I knew they received it just speaking to an operator

I am at the same state as you. The way I understand it is that USCIS sent the case to NVC, and NVC may and may not have received it.

This notice is not from NVC, rather form USCIS.

I am gonna wait a week before I call them. It's up to you how you want to handle correspondence.

What is interesting is the Dec 20th timeline, which I haven't heard from anyone else. Can you share with us what was the exact message? Don't forget to hide your case number and other information.

My paperwork has been at USCIS since 7/17/2018 .  It looks like the Potomac approvals are speeding up a little. I see that they sent a block of work recently to Nebraska. That may have helped. Up to that point, they were the slowest Service Center in the country reporting processing times from 11 1/2 to 14 months. They are NOW saying 9 1/2 to 12 1/2 months for processing an I-130 for a spouse of a US Citizen. Igor's list is showing some approvals of applications from June. I don't know how representative Igor's list is.  That is a big spread though. 12 months reported by Potomac and 5-6 from Igor's list. 

 

I'm hoping that Igor's list is representative...    It is looking like it will take 3-4 months after the NAO2 to be able to fly her here to the US. Does anyone have a better Idea for the time after the NAO2? She is fro mthe Philippines.

Am still waiting for my file to get approved, 

i mailed them my RFE reply on 12th and they received it on 19th nov, but then didnt changed the status yet  am thinking to call them now!!

Our case was sent to NVC on October 25. Few weeks later, my husband sent an email to NVC to ask if they had received our documents, but of course nobody responded. He called them on November 20 and NVC informed him that they hadn't received our petition yet. On November 26, NVC replied to our email saying that they "recently" got our documents and we had to wait for the number. But we still haven't received any number assigned and don't know the exact date of the petition receipt. So, still waiting 😄 hope we all get the number soon to be able to move on with the process 🤗

Finally got approved on 14th december, they received my RFE reply on 10th and changed the status to approved on 14th on new website, but i still didn’t received mail and even at old website status has not changed, please anyone tell me after many days do you get approval letter mailed at your place once the status is changed on your account.

our case was approved on october 18 and my husband received the letter on october 23 , the statut on uscis website changed on october 24 to "your case was sent to the departement of state"

received on november 02nd and case number was assigned on december 18 (6 weeks 2 days).

Hey guys! We got an email with number assigned from NVC today (December 19) . So it took 3.5-4 weeks for them to assign the number. 

Hope everything goes smoothly for all of us 😊
