Here ya go:

"Kaepernick tweeted "Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything" and used Nike's iconic slogan as a hashtag. The tweet also included a black and white photo of the athlete with the slogan and signature Nike swoosh on the bottom of the image.

ESPN reporter Darren Rovell also tweeted the image and said Kaepernick is "the face of the company’s 30th anniversary of the 'Just Do It' campaign."

The Super Bowl quarterback has not played on a team since 2016."

What did he sacrifice?  I seem to remember him getting quite a bit of interest as a back-up QB when he initially left SF.  It seems his ego was such that he couldn't accept that type of role and this probably pissed off a lot of teams.

As to the Nike contract he just got, of course Nike can do what they want, but to me it seems that when companies pick a side politically, it really alienates a lot of folks.  I constantly go back to the Michael Jordan example, does anyone really know MJ's politics?  He made a lot of money for Nike by not alienating a large portion of the population.  This plan by Nike that essentially says 'they hate cops', and endorse communism may not work out well for them.  Are they going to include pig socks in the Kaepernick line and change the swoosh to a hammer and sickle?
