I know I can visit the US while the application is pending but, i wonder, how often can I visit?

I have been in the US twice, last time i went for 3 weeks and came back in the middle of July. If i were to go again this month for like 2 weeks, is that too risky for being too soon since my last visit? I know in the end it is up to the CBP officer if they let me in or not, but i want to know about your experiences.

Thanks

There is no magic number or exact formula.  Every entry is at the discretion of the CBP officer.  Each frequent entry will increase your chance of denial...always be prepared.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

My daughter visits me every month and has been doing so for approximately 2 years....she comes every school break and stays the entire summer. She has never been questioned or stopped, maybe because she's a minor and is usually travelling alone.

A good rule of thumb is to spend more time in your home country than in the US in any 12 month window.  Otherwise they may consider you are using your tourist visa as a way to "live" in the US.

At the end of the day it's up to the CBP officer to decide if they let you in or out. You can keep trying until the day they send you to secondary inspection or put you on a plane back.
