Hi guys, 

My i130 spousal petition was approved on 15th August and we received approval letter in mail. Nebraska service centre has not indicated via the website if they have forwarded the petition to NVC? We called USCIS but they said to give them more time. Is this normal?

Our petition was sent 18 days after approval this August and when we applied for a K1 3 years ago it even took them 5 weeks to send the approved petition so there is nothing to worry about!

Mine was sent and received about 2 weeks after. But don’t worry it’s another roller coaster when you’ll be inquiring about a case number. Some received it after only 2 weeks and some people like me, got to receive a case number after 9 weeks !
