Did yoy make an inquiry? We are still waiting but we did get an RFE... Call USCIS, you are already out of normal processing times.

Yeah we did it like 15 days ago and They said we have to wait 45 more days for an answer that could either be a Rfe a denial or approval...  and we have not been married before, no kids, no criminal record... but here we are  still waiting and thinking we won’t make it before Christmas 🎄😔

I'm sorry, we thought our case was very simple too (no marriages, no kids), I was doing research for like 2 months before actually submitting the file, and we still manage to fail on stupid things... I'm living away from my home country and we met where I am now (Mexico), so we included proof of his visits but nothing showing I live here (duh)... also my fiance thought he didn't have any important criminal records but turns out MIPs tickets matter and have to be disclosed... (thank God he missed that box on the form so we got the second chance to declare it with the RFE and not looking like if we were hidding that information because that could be cause of a denial).

 

We also make an inquiry when we passed the 220 days and they gave us the same generic response you got. And after 4 days there was the RFE showing on the app, and 5 days later it was on the mail.

Send back rfe. Sign rfe at the bottom like and legal document. Make sure u have sent everything that is stated on the rfe. 

Make a copy of rfe for ur records. 

I sent mine back next day certified mail.

No.. sign the bottom of the rfe it's self.

We sent our RFE 18 days ago and they got it on October 10 (according to the website). Ours was about a criminal record evidence so I think those take a little bit more of time. I've seen people getting approvals after just 3 days of received at USCIS.

 

Don't get anxious we're almost there. 

hi Daniela M_______, our RFE response was received by uscis on Oct 12th, we can wait together, let's hope both of us get the luck to see the good results soon!

We’ve been waiting for them to answer on the phone for nearly half an hour

Hey everyone, thank you so so much  @BJ & Christine  & @Lucy&Jason for all your help today, I would have been lost without ya’ll, we spoke to tier 2 for fax as we didn’t have their number but they refused and said we had to just mail it, so we’ve put all the documents needed together, the copy of the RFE all signed In the bottom, a cover letter and the requested proof of citizenship ie. the birth certificate and sent via USPS. I don’t want to think of what’s going to come next and how long it’ll take but I’ll just be positive and wait patiently & still pray for everyone who is waiting. Much love.

WE GOT APPROVED! 

 

 

literally was about to fall asleep while on the phone with my fiancé, and my fiancé said he's on the way to his mailbox ,"said baby ?" And I woke up from my slight sleep and he said he said " We got Approved" ...

Approved Letter Recieved : 30 October 2018.

 

 

 

I don't know how the hell to feel now.

 

 

This process has been hard.
