You can call whenever you want, just so you know. I called every few days and nothing. But when it got to 28 days after they had received the RFE I called and asked why it was taking so long and they said I was then outside of normal processing yikes (more than 7.5 months) so they filed an inquiry. We were approved the next day.

Yes they seem waiting for someone to call in order to process their petition especially when they are outside the normal processing times. It's been 8 months and 11 days since we filed so we ran out of patience lol

Then you should call and ask to speak to tier 2 and have them file a service inquiry since you are outside normal processing times. Hey didn’t want to connect me to a tier two and I kept insisting and they finally did. Was your RFE complicated? I don’t blame you for running out of patience.

It was requesting a proof of meeting within 2 years so we sent passport stamps, chat log, hotel receipts and affidavit from a friend.

Hi guys! 

I'm an old February filer and I found myself lurking back to this forum today.

I had my interview in Montreal, Canada yesterday, and we got approved! I wanted to thank you guys for the support and advice the past few months. I don't know that I'd do without VJ! Shoutout to @Greenbaum, @BJ & Christine - I truly appreciate all your help!

Hi.  We finally got approved. No email and no text just an update on new website. NOA1 2/14/18, RFE 9/8/18.  I sent our RFE response on 9/29 and USCIS received it on 10/2. We got approved after 14 days of our reply (10/16/18). Our RFE was a bit complicated since we were asked to proof that my foreign divorce was valid and recognized in New York State. Just in case for those with a similar situation, all you need to do is to obtain both the divorce certificate and divorce decree and get this legalized and apostille in the Dominican Republic. Once you do that get everything translated and send it back to USCIS. Also, I didnt sign the RFE form and they didnt request a signature and still got approved. Thank you everyone for the support and Hope's. Good luck to those still waiting.

Hi everyone need your urgent help, we have been waiting for an RFE since last month and today we just put in for an e request and all mentions is to expect a reply by 11/ 10 and that the USCIS will review and process the request, what can we do in this regard?

Thanks, we asked them the last time and they said we had to wait for today, we will try again now.
